How is the Inherent Viscosity measured?
The majority are measured at 30° C, 0.5% w/v in chloroform, with a size 25 Cannon-Fenske glass capillary
viscometer.
What is the minimum purchase?
The minimum purchase is the smallest package size available for the specific polymer lot you request.
Note: the smallest package size we normally package is 50 grams but occasionally we package 10 grams.

What are the package sizes?
Our standard packages sizes are 50 gram, 100 gram, and 1 Kg. Occasionally we package in 10 gram packages. Custom
package sizes are available for batch orders.
Can I have free samples?
We no longer provide free samples due to massive requests from around the globe. To demonstrate that we
understand your concern of costs for initial development work, we have a one-time discounted feasibility
study kit for commercial customers and a permanent discounted University pricing program.

The typical density value for PLG is 1.25 g/cm3.
What forms do the polymers come in?
The polymers' Inherent Viscosity (IV) determines whether the material will be pelletized or milled to powder. Rod stock is available as a custom order. Contact customer service for more information.

The polymers are shipped at room temperature via the following:
- All U.S. orders for polymer are shipped Federal Express Priority.
